What Happened to Me
In 2024, my doctor told me my fasting blood sugar was 11.2 mmol/L — well into the diabetic range. My blood pressure was 158/96. My weight was 94 kg. I was 45 years old, exhausted, and heading toward a lifetime of medication.
I took the prescription, folded it, and put it in my pocket. Then I made a decision: I would give myself 120 days to try a completely different way.
I built my programme around 5 non-negotiable daily habits:
- Waking at 4 AM every single day
- 14-hour intermittent fasting window
- Removing 5 specific harmful foods
- Walking 10 minutes after every meal
- Protecting 7 hours of sleep every night
By Day 120:
- Fasting blood sugar: 11.2 mmol/L → 5.8 mmol/L
- Blood pressure: 158/96 → 118/76 mmHg
- Weight lost: 14 kg
- Medication: zero
My doctor reviewed my results and said he had rarely seen this kind of reversal in a patient who committed fully to lifestyle change.
